Our Class Project

This year our class is doing a special science project. We have a(n) dog that we are taking care of. It is very large and it has red eyes. It lives in a(n) can in the back of our classroom. We feed it pork chops and venus fly traps every day, but I think it really wants to eat my burger king. Everyone likes our dog.

One day, the dog got out of its cage and started running all around the room. It made a loud boom. I think it was trying to say, “oh'no!”

1. I will do my runing homework as soon as I get home from school.

9. I will help my little brother with his math homework. I will not tell him that 1 + 1 = 6 and that 2 x 2 is 1.
10. I will help my little sister with her social studies homework. I will not tell her that manhattan is the capital of united states or that lebron james was our first President.

1. Do you think it’s possible to be addicted to gaming? Why or why not?

i think it is possible to become addicted to gaming because once you get into something you may just want to keep doing it

they set up workshop to get you off of games

3. What were some differences you noticed between American culture and south Korean culture?

Americans don't have rehab for gaming south Koreans do

1. Why do you think someone becomes addicted to gaming?

i think someone can get addicted to gaming when they get bored or they have nothing else to do.maybe they just like games and it's one of the things they do best

i listen to music while studying because i think it can help me zone into what i have to do

the music that distracted me was on the 4th quiz only because it was loud

d) How do you think you would have done on the test if there were math problems instead of a story?i think i would have done bad because with math i really have to focus in to do the work

i don't think there is because after you post it online its there forever

it might affect your future because when you try to apply to a collage they can look up your name and if you have a picture that shows you doing something illegal they can reject you from the school

Explain at least three ways you could change the Techbrarian Distraction Test to make it more like real life. Describe how each change might effect the results. For example, what would have happened if I added an instant messaging window on the side of the test?

The way i would have tried to change the test was by making game websites pop up during the test. i think if there was an i.m. window i would get distracted

1.it trains people who are going to war

3.it makes people realize that war is not going to be the same in reality

2. What do you think this technology will look like in 10 years
i think that the tech will be much more advanced but bad for the world because of how people may use them during war

Dirty Water

a)  Name one way water sources become contaminated (dirty) in 3rd world countries?

it gets dirty when people make feces in the ground and it seeps into the ground water which flows into the lake

b) What are the dangers of water contamination?

people can get diarrhea 

c) Describe (in your own words) an invention that can save people from drinking contaminated water?

the life straw is a way to filter the contaminates 

d) Why do you think everyone in 3rd world countries do not have these inventions?

they don't have the money and the u.s is not generous enough to give it to them
